Hamden testimonials

Learning Experience: Isabel has learned a lot since she started at Tender Care. The programs, activities, curriculum and great teachers have provided her with a perfect environment to learn and thrive. We see the fruits of it every day on small and big things.
Social Aspects: The schools has a good mix of kids from whom she can learn with. She is also encouraged to contribute with her own ideas and feelings. The daily contact with her peers as well as her guiding teachers has made her develop in many aspects and get ready for the next steps in her life.

My daughter has formed very close bonds to her teachers and classmates. She often talks about them when she is home. They have become a very important part of her life, and she looks forward to seeing them every weekday. The teachers at Tender Care are fabulous. They truly care about the children and it is obvious that they invest much time and effort in helping the children have a great learning experience.

"The enthusiasm of the staff every day provide a positive learning environment. The enthusiasm has resulted in our son being excited to get to school and race down the hall into class (and sometimes not want to leave at the end of the day when we arrive to pick him up because he is having so much fun). Anytime I drop off or pick up our child the entire class is engaged in learning and/or play with the teachers! The entire staff's energy and passion to teach and care for children is amazing.
The staff has an exceptional attention to detail for each and every child. When we had a second child coming to the teachers all took note of that and started discussing this in school and going on “field trips” to see the babies.
THANK YOU for all you do – you are truly a part of our family and have played a significant role in making my son the amazing child that he is."

"Where do I begin?! Tender Care is a wonderful family! There was never one day when my son said, "I don't want to go to school." Not one time in five years he was there. The teachers/staff treated him like their own child. He is more than prepared to enter kindergartenand was totally excited for the new experience. We are forever grateful to Tender Care!"
A Hamden Parent

"Tender Care is much more than a daycare for our family. It has been a community and a source of friendship and enjoyment for years. Our oldest son started at 4 months and will now be going to kindergarten and our youngest son is still enjoying the program, entering transitions (mid 2yearolds) this year. We've referred several friends to Tender Care and they've all been enthusiastic about it and stayed with it. One of our friends credits Mr. James and the preK room with turning around their son's behavior, as he had had serious behavioral difficulties in a prior childcare center and at Tender Care he thrived. One of the aspects of Tender Care we value is Lori and Candace's cheerfulness and orderliness in running the center. They know all the children, they're always willing to help, and we've always felt our children are safe and in great hands. The teachers, as well, have been fabulous, and there are too many to name personally and credit with having beneficial, and what we expect will be a positive lifelong impact, on our children. One last note: Some of our friends and family were initially skeptical about daycare as we were the first in our family to opt for it. Now that they've had a chance to visit Tender Care, do the pickups, meet the teachers and Directors, they're as enthusiastic as we are. They also credit Tender Care with contributing enormously to our children's happiness and wellbeing. We're very thankful to Tender Careand the whole stafffor providing us and our children with a wonderful experience and place to grow through their early childhood.”
