Infants

At Tender Care Learning Centers, infants are nurtured, loved and cared for. Our teachers are fully trained in all aspects of infant development, and health and safety. You can be confident your baby will be in a safe and loving environment all day long.

We understand that from birth, infants show a wide variety of physical, social and emotional abilities, therefore we use an individualized infant program called Creative Curriculum®. This curriculum consists of age-appropriate materials that allow each teacher to use inventive ideas and activities to address each infant’s unique needs and enhance their abilities. Our infant program blends a variety of activities that help babies develop at their own level of achievement and growth, including:

  • Discovering and exploring their world around them
  • Imitating what others do
  • Repeating and practicing actions
  • Receiving nurturing from others

In the infant classrooms, our teachers communicate daily with parents in person. They provide you with written daily happenings that include notes about your baby’s activities, diaper changes, naps, and feedings, as well as baby’s exciting learnings, experiences and achievements!

Questions & Answers

Do you provide meals and snacks?

Yes! We provide a nutritionally balanced breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack that meets the Child and Adult Care Food Program. The primary goal of this program is to help children receive nutritious meals while introducing them to a variety of different types of food. For infants, Tender Care Learning Centers offers infant formula along with cereal, vegetables, and fruit. We believe that the exposure to good nutrition at an early age benefits children by promoting healthy eating habits to last throughout their lives.
At Tender Care Learning Centers, safety is our number one priority. Our schools have biometric keyless entry pads on the main entrance to limit access to the school. Parents, guardians, and authorized pick-up persons of enrolled children use their fingerprints to check their child in or out each day and access the building. If you notify us that a friend or family member will be picking up your child, they will be asked for identification to verify their identity before they are allowed access to the building for pick up. Each school is equipped with cameras both inside and outside the building. For the protection of the children, there is no streaming video on a website or a mobile app.
Communication is extremely important to us. Parents stay connected with their child’s learning through daily interactions using Kaymbu. The Kaymbu app technology is designed to support collaborative partnerships, allowing teachers to share learning and updates from school, and families to share learning and updates from home.
Our expertly trained and experienced teachers will help your child have fun while developing a lifelong love of learning. Our teachers meet all state licensing requirements including background checks, clearances, and CPR/Pediatric First Aid certifications before starting their employment. We provide on-going teacher training in health and safety, curriculum, assessment, and child development.
Yes, we take extra care to ensure our schools are in full compliance with each state’s licensing entities.
